Clare says, "O-ba-ma!"

I did not, I promise, coach this. She spontaneously exclaimed "Obama!" earlier in the song, I grabbed the camera, and waited for the magic to happen again.

You can find the new Obama video here. Thanks for the link, Tracy.

Hey, where do you get one of those little talking people thingies? Do they come pre-programmed, or is there assembly required?

Also, is she old enough to vote in Texas on Tuesday?

Some people think they come pre-programmed, I think it's all self-assembly. :)

I'm pretty sure Clare won't be voting Tues but Grandmom & Grandad should be...so listen up y'all.

You should totally send this to the Obama campaign.

She is just so cute! What a sweet girl! Can she say Hillary? I keep waiting to see some cool inspiring Hillary videos. But nada.

JTB,

I love what you said in response to Joe's blogpost"A response" a few days ago, when you wrote about a communal faith. Do you mind if I use your words to post on my own blog?

Nate, you know it tickles my ego when I get referred to on any blog but esp one as cool as yours. :)

when clare runs for office one day, your home videos are going to be played on msnbc toting her politic passions since childhood.

hey, they quote a kindergarten obama saying he wanted to be president someday, so i might not be so far off.

and i'm with casey about emailing this to obama & co. ;)

Well...our almost 2-year-old can say "Barack Hussein Obama 2008"! So, there.

Okay, she can't, but I'm going to teach her now.

Is it wrong to want to compete with other parents in "toddler tricks"? We've been working on the ABCs ever since your last video...

JTB said...

It's impossible to resist the parental competition, right? :) I'll be keeping an eye out for a Taylor video...(tapdancing, multiplication tables, Declaration of Independence, perfect rendition of 728b???)

Well...there's no video proof, but she can count to 7, spell her name, say "I Love you too, daddy", and, as of earlier this evening, has said "Obama" once.

no video proof??? then it totally doesn't count.
